Today I went to a movie with a five year old little boy. We were going to see Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince. As we sat in the theater and the lights started to dim, I felt my heart start to race. I was getting so excited to see this movie, I have been eagerly anticipating this for well over a year. I looked at this little man with hope shining in my eyes and gasped, "I am getting so excited! Are you excited?" He looks at me with disappointment and says, "Of course. But, shhh. You are not supposed to talk during the movie."
I didn't know what to say. I quietly apologized and thought to myself, this little boy was raised the right way.

Agreed. Here is to that kid. The only problem I have with going to Pixar movies is the huge amount of talking, crying kids that I want to drop kick down the stadium seating. I wish all kids were that kid.
That boy deserves a big gold star and some candy.
That's freckin' awesome!
who is this child? that's so funny. I'm glad you were excited.
He didn't get scared? I jumped a few times. My husband took me but I had my newborn in tow. I had to leave in the middle to walk him back to sleep and happen to pass gap and decided to try on a cute pair of pants. I returned when the baby fell back asleep and then after the movie, told my husband. So now he is telling people that I left the movie to go shopping--a typical girl. Good thing I read the book.
